Compatibility​

Minimum Thunderbird Version

This add‑on supports Thunderbird 128 ESR or newer. Older versions are not supported.

  • Thunderbird 128 ESR or newer is supported (128.x+).
  • Older Thunderbird versions are not supported.
  • Tested on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Manifest V2 not supported

Manifest V2 is not supported. The add‑on targets Manifest V3 (MV3) on Thunderbird 128 ESR+.

Troubleshooting​

  • If the add-on does not work as expected, ensure that you are using a compatible version of Thunderbird (128 ESR or later).
  • Check the Thunderbird error console (Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console) for any issues related to the add-on.
  • If stored settings appear not to apply properly, restart Thunderbird and try again. (Thunderbird may cache state across sessions; a restart ensures fresh settings are loaded.)

Known conflicts​

Beta/Nightly​

  • Thunderbird Beta and Daily (Nightly) builds are generally supported, but upstream changes can occasionally break add‑on behavior. If you encounter issues, please report them and include the exact Thunderbird version (e.g., “Daily 131.0a1 2025‑09‑10”).
